One Cloud Solution For Enterprise & Regular Users Essentially, the new Google Drive app for desktop will be an amalgam of features borrowed from Drive File Stream and Backup and Sync. Moreover, the Mirror Drive feature will allow users to quickly access all of their data by storing files on their local device. Plus, the app will also be able to perform cloud syncing for files stored on an external storage device, such as a USB flash drive or an external hard drive. The app will let users choose between Google Drive and Photos for syncing their photos and videos. The new Drive app for Windows and macOS will support automatic cloud syncing in the background, just the way users experience it on the mobile app.
